ARTIST’S TRAIL SYDENHAM

Orange Corner Mar 2015 for web

A collection of my red and orange textured paintings will be on show at 35 Bishopstorpe Road.

As well as doing the Brockley Open Studios, I am also taking part in the Artist’s Trail in Sydenham which takes place over two weekends, Sat & Sun 2nd & 3rd July and Sat & Sun 9th & 10th July.  I will be showing once again at Annabel and Barry’s lovely home; 35 Bishopsthorpe Road, along with four other fantastic artists; Carol Edgar, Ruty Benjamini (who are both also Skylark artists), Linda Litchfield and Pat Rae.

Unfortunately the first weekend clashes with the Brockley event, so although I will have some work on show in Sydenham, (mostly my red and orange canvases – see above)  I cannot be present there until the second weekend.

Supporting the Artist’s Trail is the Summer Open at the Lovely Gallery at 140 Sydenham Road, where you can see samples of work from many of the artists on the trail. The Private View is on Thurs 30th June from 6-9pm with live jazz! Check their Facebook page for more details  https://www.facebook.com/TheLovelyGallery/

Card Workshop: On the 9th & 10th July, I will be offering a workshop where you can make greetings cards using re-cycled materials, some you may recognise from my embossed collages!!

High Street Art Gallery: Another fun initiative that runs alongside the festival is the High Street Art Gallery. Several shops have offered to display some art in their windows, so as you walk up and down the High Street you can see some examples of art works to whet your appetite for the Artists Trail. I am showing two of my white canvas pieces in Billings the Fishmongers alongside works by Ky Lewis that were inspired by fish.
